We provide world class technical support
3-year standard warranty (should last decades)
The pump ships as pictured, with motor cover, good wiring harness and two new relays. It ships without the metal mounting frame.
We service the electric motor and valves, replace the motor or solenoid valves if necessary, upgrade the internal seals, and always replace the relay.
The deposit gets refunded in full if we receive your matching core within 90 days and without signs of serious abuse or missing components. We may retain part of your deposit if your pump has been abused, has been in a fire, or is severely corroded. It's a make-sense approach: if we need to replace a shattered reservoir or a damaged travel sensor for the tonneau cylinder, for example, then we will subtract what it costs us to replace such components that are not normally part of the pump rebuild.
To remove the pump, you need to make enough room for access, disconnect negative terminal of the battery, remove convertible top control module with a T15 torx wrench, disconnect the wiring harness, disconnect the top of the tonneau cover cylinder by pulling pivot pin and then retracting cylinder shaft all the way, remove the travel sensor (Hall sensor) from the tonneau cylinder (don't pull on the wires, but instead wiggle on the sensor and ease it out of the groove in the cylinder's rail), disconnect the hydraulic lines, and unbolt the pump from the chassis. Disconnecting the hydraulic lines requires only that you unbolt the manifold plate on top, which holds all the hydraulic lines, and then pull up a little on each hydraulic line individually. The hydraulic lines will stay within the manifold plate - they are retained by small snap rings, and they will not get mixed up. Lastly, remove the sheet metal mounting frame from the pump.
