This is the passenger side cylinder that actually lifts the rear glass. The official name "Rear Roof Piston" can be confusing because this part is in rear of the roof only when the roof is down. The cylinder is mounted under the electric roof's top panel.
Please note that these parts cannot be rebuilt if there is serious damage to the metal parts, such as a bent shaft.
