There are two options for placing your order:
1. (Most affordable) You send in your malfunctioning Hydraulic Trunk System, and Top Hydraulics rebuilds it.
- The rebuild includes electric motor replacement or rewinding if necessary, service of hydraulic valves, and upgrade of internal seals in the pump and all cylinders to eliminate current or future pressure loss or internal bypass. Three years warranty.

2. (Fastest) Expedited Core Exchange Option where Top Hydraulics ships parts from our inventory first
($450 plus a $150 Refundable Core Charge).
- Option 2 means that you get a rebuilt & upgraded system from Top Hydraulics' inventory first, then you ship back your original system for credit of your $150 core refund. Top Hydraulics ships the system as pictured, filled and vented for plug-and-play installation. You get a system that has been rebuilt to outlast and outperform OEM.

W215 CL-Class Hydraulic Trunk Opening/Closing Complete System Upgrade $420.
Top Hydraulics replaces the original seals with a far superior material. The cylinder is part of pump assembly p/n 2158000148 aka A 215 800 01 48. Remove the cylinder from the pump and send it to Top Hydraulics for upgrade service. Do not cut the lines - they unbolt at the pump. There is a surcharge of $50/ea. for damaged lines. In the rare event that the polished cylinder shaft has rust on it, Top Hydraulics can replace the shaft with a polished and hardened stainless steel shaft for an additional $100.
The upgrade service includes overhaul of the pump, noise reduction in the pump to a level lower than a new pump, and replacement of the electric motor if necessary. This will make the pump better than a new one.
If the returned core should have damaged lines, then $50 per damaged line will be retained. If there should be irreparable damage from rust or tool on the cylinder housing or shaft, then the core refund will be handled on a case-by case basis.
