Note: Most of these cylinders fail almost at the same time.
The polished shafts on all these cylinders must be undamaged, or there will be an additional charge for shaft replacement (or reduction of core refund in case of core exchange order). Damage on the shaft normally occurs only when the shafts get hit by sharp objects - make sure to retract the shafts on the cylinders before they can be hit by tools. There are some extremely rare cases of rust on the shafts requiring shaft replacement, as well. Top Hydraulics will not rebuild A207 cylinders with severely damaged housings.

Seals used by Top Hydraulics, Inc. include Viton™ and Teflon™-hybrid seals, as well as enhanced Polyurethane material, which far exceed the OEM's requirements for rigidity, but provide at least double the service life for your convertible car top actuators, based on scientific test data.

Due to an extremely high demand for E-Class bow extension cylinders and cores coming back very slowly or our parts being sold to third parties, we had to suspend the core exchange option for single bow extension cylinders temporarily. This may last well through summer. We are still offering core exchange of the full cylinder sets. Of course, we would be happy to rebuild the cylinder(s) from your vehicle, should you choose to ship them to us first.
