There are two options for placing your order:
1. (Most affordable) You send in your malfunctioning Mitsubishi Eclipse Hydraulic Pump, and Top Hydraulics rebuilds it.
- The rebuild includes electric motor replacement or rewinding if necessary, service of hydraulic valves, and upgrade of internal seals in the pump to eliminate current or future pressure loss or internal bypass. Three years warranty.

2. (Fastest) Expedited Core Exchange Option where Top Hydraulics ships parts from our inventory first
(includess a $200 Refundable Core Charge).
- Option 2 means that you get a rebuilt & upgraded pump from Top Hydraulics' inventory first, then you ship back your original part for credit of your $200 core refund.Top Hydraulics ships the pump filled with fluid for plug-and-play installation. You get a pump that has been rebuilt to outlast and outperform OEM replacements.

The Convertible Top Hydraulic Pump in the Eclipse Spyder actuates eight Hydraulic Cylinders:
1) The Tonneau Cylinder (opening and closing the storage cover)
2) The Toneau-Latch Cylinder (latching and unlatching the storage cover)
3) & 4) RH and LH Main Rotary Actuator (hinge type)
5) & 6) RH and LH Bow Cylinders (raising and lowering the rear bow with the window in it)
7) & 8) Locking Cylinders (locking and unlocking the soft top)
The pump is located under the soft top storage compartment.

Removal and replacement of pump and individual cylinders is less complicated than it may appear. When removing cylinders, make sure to retract the polished cylinder shaft before removing the hydraulic line clips, in order to avoid accidental damage to the shaft by slipping tools.
