Left and Right Lock Pawl Cylinders are related to hydraulic lowering and raising of the rollbar. The emergency deployment is independent via electronic release of spring pressure in the roll bar. Top Hydraulics upgrades them with intricate seals made from superior material.  Core exchange is available and includes a $30 inventory surcharge plus $120 core deposit.

Core exchange means that you get rebuilt parts from Top Hydraulics' inventory first, and then you send back your original parts for a refund of your core deposit of $120. For a full core refund, parts must be in good condition except for leaking seals.

Lock Pawl Cylinder Rebuild/Upgrade Service for p/n 2308001772

The right side roll bar support p/n 2308600235 or 2308600435 has a lock pawl cylinder and a roll bar support cylinder in it. Generally, both left side and right side lock pawl cylinders and the roll bar support cylinder 2308001872 fail at about the same time.

OEM lock pawl cylinders are now failing frequently in warm and humid climates. Top Hydraulics upgrades them with intricate seals made from superior material. You send in your cylinder to be rebuilt/upgraded.

The lock pawl cylinder is easily removed from the roll bar assembly by pulling back the plastic guard and turning the cylinder 90 degrees. It must be shipped with the hydraulic lines attached and intact.

The lock pawl cylinder is part of the roll bar assembly. It is related to hydraulic lowering and raising of the rollbar. The emergency deployment is independent via electronic release of spring pressure in the roll bar. Top Hydraulics upgrades the seals inside the hydraulic cylinders - this is independent of emergency deployment. By using Top Hydraulics' rebuild/upgrade service for hydraulic cylinders, you acknowledge that Top Hydraulics is not liable for failure of the (independently activated) emergency roll bar deployment system.

Please do not send in the whole roll bar support/emergency deployment assembly - it is awkward, heavy, and expensive to ship.
