2. (Fastest) Core Exchange Option where Top Hydraulics ships parts from our inventory first ($150 plus a $120 deposit).
- Option 2 means that you get a rebuilt & upgraded cylinder from Top Hydraulics' inventory first, then you ship back your original part for credit of your $120 core refund. You get a cylinder that has been rebuilt to outlast and outperform OEM replacements.

Rebuilding your R230 SL-Class Vario Roof Left Side Trunk Frame Locking Cylinder with the best seals available. 3-year warranty. Core exchange is available and includes a $30 inventory surcharge plus $120 core deposit. The cylinder must be shipped with lines attached - they need to be traced all the way back to the pump. P/N 2308000972.
Hydraulic lines must be intact and attached to the cylinder(s). The polished cylinder shaft must be free from scratches (scratches can only be inflicted with tools, or when accidentally hitting a sharp edge, as usually happens when people try to open up the cylinders themselves). Top Hydraulics can replace the polished shaft for a surcharge. Top hydraulics can also replace cut or damaged hydraulic lines for an additional surcharge. If your core return is damaged, we may subtract our cost to repair the damage from your core refund.
Cylinder must be shipped with lines attached. This part mounts in latch 2307900371 (or 2307900171 or 2307901171 or 2307901371). Upgrade in pairs is highly recommended. P/N 2308000972
