- Top Hydraulics replaces & upgrades the seals in your cylinder with our superior proprietary material. Top Hydraulics' u-cup seals have a far more reliable seal and much longer service life. You get back a cylinder that has been rebuilt to outlast and outperform OEM replacements.

2. (Fastest) Core Exchange Option where Top Hydraulics ships the part from our inventory first ($170 plus a $120 deposit).
- Option 2 means that you get a rebuilt & upgraded cylinder from Top Hydraulics' inventory first, then you ship back your original part for credit of your $120 core refund. You get a cylinder that has been rebuilt to outlast and outperform OEM replacements.

Convertible hydraulic cylinder rebuild service (using best seals available ) for VW Cabrio MK3 convertible top lifting system. The system consists of two lifting cylinders, and it is highly recommended to upgrade them in pairs.
Optional core exchange: $30 surcharge for the service, plus $120 refundable core deposit. There is a $100 surcharge (or deduction from deposit refund) for damaged or rusty cylinder shafts (which we see occurring quite rarely).
Standard service means you send in your cylinder(s) first for rebuild.
Optional core exchange means we ship cylinders from our stock to you first.
