Shipping & Receiving Specialist
We are seeking an outstanding full-time Shipping Specialist to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, keep records, and prepare items for shipment. We will always strive to utilize your existing strengths and expand your skill set. As you grow in this role, the strengths you display on the job may also allow you to take part in small parts production, customer support, management tasks, or website management. You could also advance into a supervisory position.

Handling incoming and outgoing shipments properly is very important and you will learn a lot in this entry-level position, working right along with the senior staff. With the right attitude and aptitude, you can excel quickly in this position.
Starting pay $17.50 per hour. Benefits after 6 months include paid time off, monthly health care bonus. We also offer 3 paid holidays per year, opportunities for paid overtime, and bonuses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform in a heated warehouse setting by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Maintain neat and accurate log sheets and records of goods shipped and received
- Process product orders obtained through Top Hydraulics' website, log in and register received parcels, distribute packages and letters within the company
- Assess parcels and products for visible damage
- Ensure there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies to manage the shipments
- Some small parts production

Physical Requirements of this position:
Regular handling of large quantities of parcels including lifting up to 50 lbs, overhead lifting, and repetitive movements (folding boxes, packing parts, production work )
Standing up for long periods
Very good close vision (corrected with glasses is acceptable)
Ability to input computer data with speed and accuracy
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Some college preferred
Solid work experience of at least 2 years in any one position or role, preferably more
